EALE TOUR 2026 - Call for Papers - Deadline is 30 October 2025
The EALE Tour is an initiative by the European Association of Labour Economists (EALE) to promote research by young scholars graduating from European Institutions.
The EALE invites applications from job market candidates who work in the broad field of labour economics and will participate in the academic job market for economists 2025. The Executive Committee of the EALE will select three outstanding candidates and invite them to take part in a post–job market tour of three leading European institutions.
During the tour, which usually takes place in May, the selected candidates will present their research and talk about their experiences of the job market with junior researchers.
The three stops of the EALE Tour 2026 will be:
- Norwegian School of Economics, Bergen, Norway
- Department of Economics, Uppsala University, Sweden
- Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Naples Federico II, Italy
To apply, please submit your job market paper, CV and a confirmation from your supervisor that you are going on the job market to eale-sbe@maastrichtuniversity.nl
Prerequisites for being considered are:
- Participation in the junior academic job market for economists 2025
- Enrolment at a European institution
- Research in the broad area of labour economics
Applications must be received by the compulsory deadline of Thursday, 30 October 2025
Selected candidates will be notified by Friday, 14 November 2025.
